About – User Centred Research

User Centred Research is a collective of practitioners dedicated to conducting research to improve the experience, performance, interaction and safety of people – all people irrespective of age, gender or circumstance. Our team is made up of ergonomists, human factors experts, human sciences researchers, psychologists and statisticians. The team expertise is selected according to the requirements of the project.

The team is led by Zaheer Osman, a highly experienced researcher (Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors and Chartered Member of IOSH) who is directly involved with all projects undertaken. View publications from our lead researcher here.

User Centred Research was established to conduct pragmatic investigation and generate fit for purpose solutions to be provided by those responsible for the design of activities, programmes, websites, equipment, services and facilities. Our research, therefore, concerns itself with all aspects of accessibility, usability and desirability.
